Fáguð hönnun þar sem sniðin eru tímalaus, klæðileg og þægileg. MAGNEA is a creative fashion studio based in Reykjavík. Innovative textiles with a strong emphasis on contemporary knitwear and beyond, are carefully designed by founder Magnea Einarsdóttir, a Central Saint Martins graduate. Always keeping the unique Icelandic wool in the loop, the aim is to use traditional methods in unseen ways. Embracement of craftsmanship and material experimentation, with close attention to detail and contrasts, has led the designer towards working closely with local artisans, combining unexpected materials from rubber to silk with locally sourced wool. The design focuses on the art of finding balance between opposites and how they attract. Each season the designer creates and develops unique fabrics. While staying true to the brands identity they are carefully executed into simple silhouettes and contemporary designs for women of all ages.
